Boxwood Manor
Perfect for large weddings, the spacious Boxwood Manor offers four spaces to choose from, each tailored to the unique needs of your event. For the ceremony, you can choose either the chapel or the lawn depending on the aesthetics you want for pictures and videography.
The Chapel is outfitted with floor-to-ceiling windows, which welcomes in the natural light that lends itself to high-quality photos. This part of the venue is all about clean lines with a palette that can be easily adapted to any color or décor style.
You can also get married out on the lawn (or hold your cocktail hour here). The stunning grounds are always well-maintained and there is plenty of patio furniture, fire pits, and even yard games to keep guests occupied – making it a perfect summer wedding idea! If you’ve been dreaming of an outdoor ceremony, this is the ideal spot.
The Manor is perfectly suited for receptions with a two-story building that overlooks the lawn where you just had your ceremony. There are two bars plus spaces for dining and dancing, fitting approximately 300 people to celebrate alongside you on your special day.
The Astorian
The Astorian holds all of the glamor of the Roaring 20s right in the heart of modern Houston. From the chic private loft, you can see the entire skyline of the city, making for breathtaking photos and views. The Art Deco style is meant to mimic the appearance of Grand Central Station, which gives you the perfect idea of how opulent this location is.
While the loft may be the main draw for the ceremony, The Astorian is a multi-level facility rich in modern details that couples love. Think stained concrete floors, metal detailing, and exceptional lighting so that you always look your best.
Plus, there is plenty of flexibility in the configuration of your ceremony and reception with 14,000 square feet to play around with.
Forever Five
Houston’s lakefront properties are breathtakingly gorgeous, and Forever Five captures the best of view with a stunning open-air ceremony area. Your ceremony will be right along the water, tucked under the 24-foot arches with weeping willows surrounding the view of the water behind you. The venue has more than sixteen secluded acres for guests to enjoy.
When your bridal party is ready to move inside to the reception, the main venue hall has 5,000 square feet designed to hold up to 200 guests. It’s filled with modern lighting, an area for a buffet, and even exposed brick walls to give you the same rustic vibes as the outdoor areas.
Houston Oaks
If you thought Forever Five was nice and secluded with its sixteen acres, Houston Oaks has it beat with 1,000 acres of verdant green land and lakefront properties.
Couples have their choice of the venue for their ceremony with popular options being the Lakeside Pavilion or the 15th-century French Chapel. Both offer fabulous views of their oak trees that lend this space grace and beauty. Houston Oaks is also home to a golf club and some parts of the venue are situated near the fairway!
As for cocktail hour, you have several options. The Pavilion can hold up to 300 people for cocktail hour (or 200 seated guests). You can also set up right under the oak trees beside the chapel, which is shaded on the shore and offers guests the most spectacular view on a beautiful day.
